Katie Lee Joel on CBS Morning Show

Chef Katie Lee Joel appeared on the CBS Early Show presenting some back-to-school recipes this morning so I thought I would give a little background on the 32-year-old beauty and wife of singer Billy Joel.

Katie is orginally from Huntington, West Virginia and attended the University of Miami (OH) graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in English and Journalism.  A year later she married the legendary singer.  Her career has seen her become a TV restaurant critic for PBS’ healthy lifestyles and cooking TV series, George Hirsch: Living It UP!  She was the original host of Bravo’s Top Chef and often appears as a special correspondent on Extra. She is a contributing editor to Gotham magazine, and has a column, “Katie’s Kitchen,” that is published weekly in Hamptons.  She has also appeared on Iron Chef: America, Paula’s Party, Martha, Today,  and Fox News.
