Pama Brings the Christmas Spirit

PamaRecently I discovered a new liqueur made with pomegranates. It is called Pama and not only does it make a kicking Pomegranate Martini but I have used it to make a delicious pomegranate syrup perfect for chocolate chip pancakes – recipe follows.  At the Pama web site they have tons of suggestions and recipes for their ruby red elixir as well as a contest tailor made for the ladies. Check it out.

Chocolate Chip Pancakes with Pomegranate Syrup

Syrup
16 ounces pomegranate juice
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup Pama Pomegranate Liquour

Pour all ingredients into a small sauce pan and reduce by two-thirds. Refrigerate until serving.   Use your favorite pancake mix or recipe. When you pour the batter onto the griddle place a tablespoon of chocolate chips into the top of each pancake. Cook as you normally would.  Top with syrup.
