Residue at the Wine Loft

Sunday night I attended the world premiere of Residue at the Wine Loft. It was a truly great event. Charisa Cowart of Fox 10 was nice enough to be my “and one” to the red carpet event. Naz and his staff were in overdrive serving their usual vast array of great vino as well as some truly imaginative hors dourves my favorite being the ensalada caprice on a skewer (salad on a stick, brilliant!). Wade Miller, the producer of Residue, is a good friend of mine as is Nathaniel “Sith” Nuon who directed this important and enlightening short film. these guys are super talented and their talent and vision were beautifully portayed in their opus.
WPMI NBC 15 chief meteorologist Jim Loznicka was the host as Mobilians turned out by the hundreds. The usually roomy wine bar in Spring Hill was packed to the gills despite a nasty squall the passed through. WPMI’s Darwin Singleton also did a great story that you can check out HERE.
