nakedchef.jpgWell, Thanksgiving is here and everywhere you look, the country’s best chefs are out in force to help make this Turkey Day better than ever. Monday morning NBC’s Today Show kicked it off in style by having Thomas Keller, quite possibly the best chef in the world, stop by and share some of his tips and recipes from his world famous restaurant The French Laundry.

The Today Show also announced that Food Network favorite Tyler Florence would be on Thursday’s show to prepare his Ultimate Thanksgiving Feast. But NBC is not stopping there as Martha Stewart is scheduled Tuesday, and on their web site you can check out their series Famous Chef’s Last MealsJamie Oliver wants spaghetti. What would Iron Chef Mario Batali have? “I would have eight or ten courses of magnificent seafood, pasta and vegetables (including raw radishes with good oil and salt). This would all be washed down with a sea of icy limoncello. REM would play live with U2, and John McLaughlin would play acoustic with Paco de Lucia.” Mario has put an alarming amount of thought into this question.

Always to be found somewhere in the spotlight is Rocco DiSpirito. This week the former Dancing with the Stars competitor has a great article in Parade Magazine called Turkey 911, a guide to saving Thanksgiving dinner. In the clip he “fixes” some of the most common kitchen mishaps. Like “the top of the pumpkin pie is burned.” Rocco’s fix is to carefully scrape the charred flakes off and cover it with tons of whipped cream. And ABC’s Good Morning America will have Emeril Lagasse on Tuesday and Wednesday for his tips for a successful Thanksgiving Dinner.
