New York, NY (December 9, 2008) – Plum TV, the 24-hour television and internet network of local channels serving upscale resort communities, and chef-to-the-stars Nina Clemente has launched a brand new cooking series, “Cucina di Nina.” The thirty minute show will reveal the secrets of cooking traditional Southern Italian fare, with Nina’s own modern twist. Afterwards, the host will invite celebrities and special guests to sit down and enjoy the meal, while discussing current buzz and recent ventures. “Cucina di Nina” airs Saturdays at 9:00 PM on Plum TV.

“Indulge in moderation,” is Nina’s motto, and it’s reflected in the lavish Italian dishes which she prepares on the show. Inspired by recipes that have been passed down from generation to generation, all of her delectable yet easy to make meals will integrate seasonal, fresh fare from local farmer’s markets. On this week’s episode, legendary supermodel Lauren Hutton will be treated to Nina’s culinary creations.

“Plum TV has truly found a unique talent and spirit in Nina Clemente, and we’re excited to share her with our audience,” said Chris Glowacki, CEO of Plum TV. “Her genuine love of cooking, playful attitude and simple approach are the perfect ingredients for a successful television show.”

Born in Italy and raised in New York City, Nina’s passion for cooking originated from summers spent in her mother’s hometown of Amalfi where food was the center of every social gathering. New York City was no different, as her mother, Alba, brought the same Italian spirit to their family table. Nina began cooking privately for celebrity clients in Los Angeles, which quickly lead to catering. She has fast become widely successful, as word continues to spread about this talented young chef.

“I’ve been trying to cook for 40-some years,” says future episode guest, Lauren Hutton. “It’s not books, it’s a thought process, and Nina shows you easy.”

The 30 minute episodes will air across the Plum TV network in: Aspen, the Hamptons, Martha’s Vineyard, Miami Beach, Nantucket, Sun Valley, Telluride, and Vail and will also be made available online at
