NYC’s Famed Tavern on the Green Closing

They say that restaurants like this only come along once in a blue moon.  Unfortunately this blue moon, we’re losing a great institution as one of the world’s most famous restaurants shuts down New Year’s Eve.  The Tavern opened as a restaurant in New York’s Central Park in 1934 but it won’t live to see 2010.
